publish everything we research.
research-atlas is the canonical, normalized graph of the global research economy — funders, grants, organizations, people, and fields, every row carrying provenance and a fetch timestamp. Each table is published here as an open dataset: free to read, priced-once to cite over feed402/x402, and born with a real DOI (via Zenodo) so it is citeable forever.
Fields and topics from the OpenAlex topic hierarchy (topic / subfield / field / domain), with parent links.
Funding bodies — government, private, nonprofit, corporate, supranational. Keyed on Crossref Funder id / ROR where resolvable.
Grants and awards with original-currency and normalized USD amounts, dates, status, and program. Unknown money is null, never a silent zero.
Research organizations — universities, labs, companies, facilities. Keyed on ROR where resolvable, with geocoordinates where available.
Researchers — PIs, co-PIs, program officers. Keyed on ORCID where resolvable, linked to OpenAlex author ids.
